Philippa Brangam

Internationally minded and multilingual, Philippa has over fifteen years of experience in media, marketing, and communications. Originally from Belfast, she has lived and worked in Paris, London, and San Francisco, settling in Vancouver in 2018. She began her career as an editorial assistant at Conde Nast in Paris and leveraged her fluency in both French and Italian to work as a Media Analyst at Cision in London.

An avid reader and media consumer, Philippa developed a curiosity for Silicon Valley and secured a visa in 2015 to work for a newly funded fundraising software platform, Foundersuite. This experience ignited her passion for entrepreneurship, and during her time at several early-stage companies, she quickly carved out a niche in financial technology. Since moving to Vancouver, she has further expanded her private market fundraising knowledge while working as an investor relations representative at equity crowdfunding platform Frontfundr.

In addition to her marketing expertise, Philippa is known for her impeccable communication skills and her ability to foster meaningful relationships. When not working, she enjoys traveling and participating in a wide range of sports, including skiing and surfing. Philippa holds a Master of Arts from Edinburgh University and is dedicated to enhancing her industry knowledge, currently pursuing the Canadian Securities Course.
