We are reshaping the landscape of real estate investment by providing capital solutions to our partnered developers. Collaborating with established and reputable issuers and  developers across North America, we curate high-caliber residential, commercial real estate projects and investment funds for our clients. Through our user-friendly digital platform, we facilitate investments and liquidity  with a compliant, streamlined investment stream and  enabling investors to trade on Canada's first secondary market. We are a registered Exempt Market Dealer across Canada and are currently pursuing our Investment Fund Manager registration. 

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our team. They will oversee the selection of securities offered by our 3rd party issuer partners in the Real Estate Investment Industry (e.g., REITS, MICs, etc.) and represent them accordingly in the Parvis Direct Access Fund. The Portfolio Manager will also be responsible for overseeing the management and performance of the fund. This role involves developing investment strategies, conducting research and analysis, making investment decisions, and monitoring fund performance to ensure alignment with investment objectives and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Three years of relevant investment management experience in an IIROC member investment dealer preferred.
  • Experience working with the IIROC dealer network. 
  • Finance, accounting or business degree, undergraduate or graduate level is preferred.
  • Existing securities licensing as an IR, RR or PM in British Columbia or Ontario.
  • Professional designations CFA or CIM are welcome; also desirable are CFP or RFP. 
  • Motivated to train on a market-leading digital investment platform.
  • Familiarity with investment management trading systems and the Fundserv network.

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to the investment strategy and product selection of the fund overall on a regular basis.
  • Develop and implement investment strategies for qualified individuals or institutional investors.  
  • Assisting CEO & CFO with construction of a portfolio both in model and customized formats.
  • Business development to secure private and institutional capital allocations
  • Client retention, business development and new client pursuit yearly with team support.
  • Researching and documenting research to support client recommendations and compliance needs.
  • Supporting compliance reports, account documentation, client and dealer forms to support as it pertains to the Parvis Direct Access Fund.
  • Administration required to maintain portfolio KYC, KYP and more.
  • Management and reporting on practice management statistics for your work.
  • Developing written and verbal presentations for institutional partners.
